1) Intro to american pop culture - difficulty doesn’t seem like an upper division class. not complaining. quirky teacher. 2) Language of film - will be a lot of work, but interesting. excited for photo assignments. not excited about not having internet and thus, netflix to watch assigned films, at my place. 3) Social psych - AWESOME teacher. look forward to watching early crazy psych...

so i book a flight that "returns" to LAX January...
but it doesn’t actually return January 23. it returns the 24th due to the layover. thanks a lot Orbitz. the itineraries your site produces are highly misleading. i will be back home from a transpacific flight two hours -instead of a full day- before my first class of the semester starts, jetlagged and unable to function. *whine over* is there any way i can get them to change the flight...

still on vacay,
but i started looking for job openings in and around Fullerton since i’ll be back, lacking employment, in a week. so far i’ve applied to Panera, Borders, and Buffalo Exchange (ehh) online. i just emailed my resume to a Discount Dance Supply in Anaheim (…retail…..). crossing my fingers/eyes/legs/toes for that one! it’s a totally bikable distance.
